Our team 1st evaluates your body with a variety of stretching movements to see where your problem areas are.  From there we create a customized stretch and recovery program that fits your needs and it will be a mixture of Compression Therapy, Stretching And Vibration Therapy.

 

Compression Therapy - Our Compression Therapy Recovery System helps maximize recovery for both athletes and non-athletes. Using sequential pulse technology, our compression pads synergistically combines three distinct massage techniques to speed the body’s normal recovery process: pulsing compression, gradients, and distal release. Through these mechanisms, our compression pads maximizes circulation throughout the body to help you feel better, train harder, and recover faster.

Stretching has multiple benefits for both your body and your mind. Incorporating stretching into your daily routine allows muscles to be well circulated and ultimately healthier.

Benefits of Stretching for the Body

Flexibility

Stretching improves flexibility. The more you stretch, the more you move your muscles, and the more flexible you become. Over time, stretching will become easier for your body which results in improved flexibility.

Posture

Stretching is also beneficial to improve your posture. Poor posture—a common and increasing problem—can easily be reversed and healed with daily stretching. Because stretching strengthens your muscles and encourages proper alignment, your body posture will be less slouched and more vertical.

Injury Prevention

The more you prepare your muscles for any exercising movement, the more your likelihood of injury is decreased. When your muscles are warm and stretched, movement becomes easier and more fluid-like which helps with injury prevention.

Vibration Therapy -  involves applying a vibration device, like our HYPERICE, to a localized area of the body. The physiological benefits help increase and restore range of motion, which make it a great tool for warming up and recovering. 

Benefits of Vibration:

  1. Relax Muscles. Muscles are destabilized by vibration, meaning they are not able to activate. Vibration over-stimulates the muscle so that it cannot contract, allowing the muscle to loosen and lengthen for better flexibility.
     

  2. Increase Circulation. Circulation increases to the area where vibration is applied. Body temperature rises, making vibration a great tool for warming up before physical activity. Vibration also helps the lymphatic system to flush out the toxins in the body to help recovery. 
     

  3. Myofascial Release. Myofascia is the connective tissue that extends throughout the body to provide support for the muscles and bones. Feeling tight or sore is a product of restricted myofascial connective tissue. Vibration accelerates the process of releasing this tension, relieving pain and soreness.
     

  4. Activate Central Nervous System. Vibration interferes with and distracts the pain receptors in the body. It creates static, similar to that of a radio, which inhibits the nerves from communicating pain signals. This makes vibration ideal when using it to reduce muscle soreness and stiffness.
